Maureen Murrish was born in Durham, and lives in the beautiful north of England close to both the sea and the countryside. 

She writes both fiction and non-fiction books. She is currently working on a new urban fantasy series, Shades of Meaning. The first book, Ghost Shy, was published in June 2023.
